In BRFPlus you can use the application SOLMAN to influence The service desk application. Thats nice.
Exactly what I wanted to do.
Works for something like CRM order category.
You can build some rules around service desk determination.
see the section
Select Insert Column and choose From Context Data Objects from the drop-down list.
The application only has a small number of fields from the CRM Order available.
It also doesnt have any custom fields.
I wanted to build some service desk team determination based on Address information and details in Order.
Looks like BRF isnt that useful when the Data Context doesnt have the data required to make the decision.
eg key Parts of the address arent an object you can select.
So the question is, can you extend BRF applications to provide the required data into a ruleset ?
Would you event bother and just add a custom action profile?
Copying the application to work as requried. Looks like a big job.
Why wasnt the CRM order part of the context ?
Did i miss something, or is the a gap here ?
