difference in mark as obsolete and delete

Hello Experts,

I have another question regarding mark as obsolete and mark as delete. I also see one option remove deleted object in application administration tool.

so I am confused between "Delete" and "Remove deleted object" in tool.

Please help me..I search in discussion and unable to find any answer.
