I have heavy Decision functions and using mutiple standard structures which have quite a few Quantity and Currency fields. I understand from the BRFplus - Performance and Sizing document the following:
"For best performance, try to avoid using elementary data objects of type Amount and Quantity but only of type Number. "
At this point in time it will be big effort to change the structures being used in the BRF functions and replacing the standard structure with custom which do not use Currency and quantity fields.
The method CL_FDT_FUNCTION_GEN_PROCESS=>MOVE_CURR_QUAN_FROM_EXT is using a lot of time as it comes up in the performance analysis which is not even related to the actual processing of the Business rules.
Has anyone come around this performance issue and can help me with a work around.
