Replacing the Database table by BRF+

Hi ,

Currently we are using a database table for maintaining the constant values for below two reasons,

1. To avoid the hardcoding inside a abap program

2. If there is a cnange in a value , instead of changing the program every time we can change the value through the maintenance view of the table.

Actually  we are looking to replace the Constant database table by BRF+...Now i have following questions

1.How to replace the constant table by using BRF+.Whether we need to go for Decision table expression or is there any other way to do that...

2.By replacing the database table by BRF+ will it improve the performance of my ABAP program(i.e  instead of querying the database table for getting the constant value, calling the brf+ from abap program will improve the perforamance?).

Please advice...
