BRFplus: Changing Applications from Local to Transportable

Hi all,

I need to convert a large number of BRFplus Applications from Local Customising to Transportable Customising objects.

Is there a way to do this automatically ?  There are too many and they are too big for me to attempt manually.

I have tried exporting to XML, editting the XML (changing FDTNS:LOCAL from 'X' to space, and adding FDTNS:SOFTWARE_COMPONENT and FDTNS:DEVELOPMENT_PACKAGE values) and reimporting, but this does not work.

If I need to do this programmatically, any pointers or tips (classes, methods ?) to get me started would be appreciated also.

Also I should add we are using NW 701.
