Hi all,
my latest challenge is to understand the logic regarding transports (in NW701). It seems to me that:
When you save a BRFplus object and there is no existing transport it prompts you to specify a transport (say, transport #1).
Any subsequent changes to BRFplus objects automatically get added to that existing transport. It does not matter whether the object belongs to a different Application. I even tried using the "Transport" button to forcibly add an object from a different Application to a different transport (#2), but it didn't make any difference: as soon as I changed the object, the entries were written to transport #1. So now I have the object in both transports #1 & #2.
This is going to make life difficult if we have multiple people editting multiple objects, with different testing and implementation schedules, and everything is going into a single transport.
Is there anyway to control which transport an object change gets written to ? Am I missing something obvious ? Or is this a NW701 "feature" ?
Thanks & regards,
Grogan
